It saddens me to tell you that Karen Logan, our Communication Chair, recently passed away.
For those of you who knew her, you have lost a treasured friend. For those of you who didn’t understand how often she touched your life, you should know who she has always been.
She branded us.
She made our presence known.
She blessed us with her dedicated presence for more years than I’m even aware of. She was an early member, a Block Captain, Area Coordinator for Valmonte, Secretary, Treasurer, and President. And she has been our voice.
Whenever you “See Something, Say Something” – you do it for Karen.

For those of you who knew her, you have lost a treasured friend. For those of you who didn’t understand how often she touched your life, you should know who she has always been.
- The emails that you have been getting from NW – she sent them.
- The web site that you have been referring to all these years, which is loaded with tons of information, she helped create and maintains that.
- The Membership Application you fill out, she processes it and shares that information with those of us who need it.
- For emails that you send to PVENWBoard, she answers them – and shares that information.
- The Street Meets –she created that.
- Neighbors Meeting Neighbors – she created that.
- The speakers at City Council Meetings, they are there because of her.
She branded us.
