ABOUT PVE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
PVE Neighborhood Watch is a non-profit (501c3) organization founded in1983 to encourage neighbors to watch out for one another and work with our PVE Police Department to report suspicious activities in our community. We are committed to educating our residents on crime prevention and disaster preparedness. The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department maintains a strong partnership with the PVE Neighborhood Watch program. We work together to increase the quality of life and safety within our neighborhoods.
Our Neighborhood Watch program is divided into six areas (see map): Malaga Cove (MC), Valmonte (VAL), Montemalaga (MM), Lunada Bay West (LBW), Lunada Bay South (LBS) and Lunada Bay East (LBE).
Each of these areas is represented by an Area Coordinator who shares valuable information with our Block Captains. Block Captains keep residents informed and engaged in our PVE Neighborhood Watch program. Important information is sent via email to every Neighborhood Watch member.
The PVE Neighborhood Watch is run by a volunteer Board which includes President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Area Coordinators, Membership Chair, Communication Chair and Webmaster. Their role is to coordinate and support events, activities and communications to support to PVE residents.
