Street Meets - Get to know your Police & Neighbors

Street Meets are informal gatherings of neighbors in a neighborhood cul-de-sac, driveway or front yard.  It is a short, open house-style event where neighbors from a street or block can come and meet with PVE PD officers and volunteers, PVE NW ACs/BCs and neighbors.  It is an opportunity to share information about crime trends, ways to make the neighborhood, homes and cars safer and the importance of working together in an emergency or disaster.

  • Find out about recent crimes in your neighborhood & city
  • Discover how to better protect your family, home & car
  • Meet Your Neighbors, PVE PD Officers, PVE NW Leaders
  • Obtain disaster preparedness information
  • Gather information on PVE PD crime prevention resources

This event promotes one of the primary neighborhood safety strategies – knowing your neighbors.
