Alert SouthBay Replaces Nixle

Picture

As of March 31, 2020, the PVE PD and City of PVE migrated to Alert SouthBay for their emergency announcements to the city.  This has taken the place of Nixle.  Residents who were on Nixle were be moved to Alert SouthBay.  If you have not been receiving notifications or if you want to change your settings, go to Alert SouthBay to sign-up or update your preferences.

It is recommended, particularly with all the updates on COVID-19, that you go and register now.  Other cities in the South Bay, such as Redondo Beach, El Segundo and Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Torrance also have already migrated.

The announcement from the PVE PD is posted below.
