Catalytic Converter Etching

There has been a crime spree in the South Bay for catalytic converter theft.  Our PVE PD and the PVE Neighborhood Watch want residents to be prepared in case of a theft to be able to recover their catalytic converter.

Converter etching is one way to be prepared in case of a theft.  The etched converter will not be able to be legally sold and if it is recovered by the police, they will be able to track the item back to the owner.  The etching also allows the police to take criminal action on the theft.
