Thank you to residents Mr. and Mrs. H. who shared the article below for our residents. It’s a longer article but well worth the read. And within the article (and here) is a slideshow of pictures from the 1994 Northridge Earthquake; would you be ready? Below is the link to the online article: “The First 15 Minutes After the Big One- Who dies in Los Angeles, and why, when the earth quakes on the San Andreas Fault?” by Ryan Deto Thursday, Nov 24 2011 http://www.laweekly.com/2011-11-24/news/the-first-15-minutes-after-the-big-one/?showFullText=true that two burglaries occurred in the Lunada Bay East Area (Via Amador and Via Carrillo) on March 11th and on March 14th. Suspect(s) forced entry when resident’s were not at home.
As Detectives continue to investigate these crimes, please remember, if you have alarm systems, arm then when you leave, even for a short period of time. Neighbors, continue to report suspicious persons and vehicles in your neighborhood. "Always remember that your responsibility is to report crime. Do not take any risks to prevent a crime or try to make an arrest. The responsibility for apprehending criminals belongs to the police/sheriff." |
